THE EPISTLE LESSON: Jude 3-4, 16-21
God has presented us with the true faith by delivering His Word to us. However the Apostles warned us by inspiration that there would be mockers in the last days who would attack the true faith and live according to their lusts. We see this all around us in the world today. Let us heed the admonition of Jude and build ourselves up in the truth by being steadfast in the Word of God and in prayer to the Holy Spirit. Let us be ready to contend for the Christian faith for this is the truth of Christ that brings us forgiveness and life.

THE OLD TESTAMENT LESSON: Psalm 119:97-105
God’s word brings us wisdom from above, wisdom helps us with the enemies of this world. In His Word God opens to us understanding that surpasses the wisdom of those who were renowned for their wisdom. Through the truth of God’s word we are granted guidance that lights our path of life that we may walk in the way of the Lord. His Word is true and faithful and shall never fail us in our need.
