THE GOSPEL LESSON: John 10:1-11
Jesus is the Good Shepherd. We know His voice. We listen to His voice. He leads us in and out safely. He does not come to steal us away. He has come to give us abundant life. Why should we believe all this? “The Good Shepherd gives His life for the sheep.”
THE OLD TESTAMENT LESSON: Ezekiel 34:11-16
Ezekiel prophesies of how the Lord would shepherd His flock. He would feed them in good pastures. The Lord promises peace for His flock. He will seek the lost and then bind up the broken and strengthen the sick. The Lord is our Shepherd. We are the sheep of His fold!
