THE EPISTLE LESSON: Hebrews 10:1-14
The Old Testament sacrifices could not actually take anyone’s sins away. Therefore the prophets taught that when the Savior would come He would possess a physical body for the purpose of being the real sacrifice that saves. Jesus fulfilled that will of God by being the one offering that makes us holy, once for all; one offering for all people, for all sin, for all time! By that one offering our salvation has been made complete forever.
